This was a great day! We got to see all the new Crocs styles, colors and patterns for Fall/Winter 2010 and Spring 2011. They are secret for now, but I must say...IMPRESSIVE and stylish!
I don't have pictures from the conference room because we were surrounded by all the samples and cannot show them! The room was filled with color and fun. And snacks, drinks and information. We were lucky to meet the Crocs CEO John McCarvel, the VP of Marketing Ken Chaplin. They wanted to hear from us about why we wanted to be Ambassadors and what we thought of the new product.
We were given our assignment at lunch. Lunch was at the wonderful Med restaurant. Tapas and more! The assignment was to hit a Boulder "hot spot" or a location that was of interest to us. Then blog about it and send the finished product to the Social Media Manager. I chose the Pilates Center of Boulder. They were so nice and welcoming, let me hang around a bit.
The weather continued to be chilly and wet, but we were so busy, we didn't have time to notice!
Dinner at Centro was awesome! The whole Pearl Street area is a mecca of great food. Two Top Chef contestants (one was the winner!) have cooked at restaurants here. Good food!
Here is a recap of the rest of the day via photos!

ReplyDeleteIf I could pass on a message to the crocs crew who are making that decision to go down to 5 finalists at the end of July- Katie will never cease to amaze you. She will bring an amazing spirit to your company. Everyone she meets becomes a new friend and if anyone can spread the "Croc" love she can!!!
