Crocs Cocktail Welcome Party

The party at Jill's restaurant was wonderful! The Crocs team is fantastic. We got to meet Sharon who gave us some more direction for the next couple days and she paid the tab...thanks, Sharon!

I met Tia who is a PR brain behind this contest and is with the PR firm in Chicago. She was on my flight today, but we didn't know each other yet. I remembered her because she had a man offer to put her luggage up for her in front of me in the aisle. AND I recognized her cute skirt! Tia told me how hard it was to come down to just 10 finalists and how closely they watched the voting and the Facebook activity. I am so thankful for all the votes I received!

We met Katelyn, the Crocs intern who prepared our goodie bags for us. We were so impressed with her bags and thanked her for the shoes and other goodies. Yes, that is CROCS chapstick! And shoes and a Sigg and stickers and a gift card!

Katelyn works for Caroline who was wearing a super cool necklace tonight...I should have taken a picture of it! She lives in Boulder and has lived here since she came here to attend University of Colorado at Boulder. She fell in love with the weather, the views and the vibe. She is getting married soon...at the St. Julien Hotel!
Shelly does the PR for Crocs locally and likes cheese as much as I do. Yeah! We had some fun conversations and I really enjoyed getting to know her.
The other contestants are awesome! It was a room full of creative and fun individuals wearing their favorite Crocs. Everyone is so nice and interesting. I have to go back and read some of their stories again because it makes such a difference once you meet someone in person.
We enjoyed a couple drinks, delicious appetizers and took a group photo. After, we all went for a walk to Pearl Street to see the Crocs store so everyone would know how to walk there in the morning.

I can't wait for tomorrow! They are still not telling us what the "Ambassador Assignment" from 1:30-5:30 is...we are all freaking out! One of the Crocs managers told us we were going to have to do a "fourteener". I had no idea what that was and they laughed hard. It means to climb a 14,000 foot mountain. They further told me I would have to do it in my Crocs. Ha Ha!! Seriously, it better not be a crazy physical challenge like that!

  3. I meant to say "I can guarantee that YOU will never have a dull moment with her" (but the delete function is broken, so I can't take it back).

She really is the most awesome gal you'll ever meet!
