BIG Day in Boulder!

What a huge day we woke up to today as Crocs Ambassador finalists. AND we woke up to sunshine and clear skies! Finally, I got a great view of the Flatirons.
Our agenda on Friday included completing video interviews, one-on-one interviews and a photo shoot! I was so bummed I didn't have my standard props with me...such as a baseball, my Harry Caray glasses and crazy teeth. I think the photographer would have thought I was nuts. Better that I didn't have all that stuff.
The video interviews were fun, but I got nervous and called my friend Linda in Tuscon. She made me laugh so hard while we chatted that people on Pearl Street were looking at me. Thanks, Linda!
The one-on-one interviews were in the fancy conference room in the lower level of the Crocs Pearl Street store and were fun. The photo shoot was funny...the photog made us scream at the camera, jump in our Crocs and do other nutty things.
After we were done with all our tasks, we headed off to lunch. We also had to say many goodbyes!
Here is a reacap in pictures!

My morning walk led me to the Boulder Trail. COLD water!

Lorraine doing her video interview on this beautiful day....Rick the photog at the studio. Small world strikes AGAIN....his wife is from my hometown of St. Charles, IL!

Breakfast at the Boulder Tea House on the Boulder Trail.

Lunch at West End Tavern....for those who know me and my chapstick habit, here I am with a Crocs chapstick from my goodie bag!

Me and Chris....Lorraine and Sherri!

We figured we all ingested about 4 avocados per person over the two day time...the guacamole was delicious everywhere we went!

View from lunch...

After lunch, I had time before my flight. I grabbed a cruiser bike from the front desk and rode further on the Boulder Trail. I came to these interesting rock formations, obviously man-made. Safety first in my helmet! I was shocked to have a 10-yr-old on the Boulder Trail yell to me, "Niiiiiiice Baaaassssssket" on my bike. What?? All I could come up with was, "Thaaaaaanks, BABE!"

The river was packed with people rafting and then running back up the river with their rafts to do it over and over again. What a great day!
